What time do your Sunday services begin?
Services start 10am and finish around 11:15am and there is a fellowship time after the service where you can get a drink and something to eat.
Do you have a children’s programme?
No, at present we do not operate a separate children’s programme. We do however love having children worshipping with us on a Sunday morning, and provide a simple worksheet and colouring in supplies, quiet toys and space to roam for any young ones joining our worship services.
What should I wear?
Clothes are good 😃. We don’t have a formal standard of dress, so wear what you feel comfortable in. We worship together in a beautiful heritage listed church building which can be cold on a chilly morning so warm clothes are also a good idea if you feel the cold.
Where can I park?
There are two car parking areas available on a Sunday. The most obvious (although smaller) parking area is accessed directly in front of the church and has 2 accessible carparks. The second is accessed just to the right side of the church building (in between the church and the Duncan Cotteril building). There is also parking available on street.
Where do I find Nelson Baptist Church?
193 Bridge St, Nelson. This is just opposite the District Court buildings or down the road from the Queen’s Gardens and Suter Art Gallery.
